Police blotter!

Another reporter with an eye for the telling detail:

A 49-year-old Highlands Ranch woman reported someone doused her car with a variety of food and other items sometime between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. April 15. The woman, who lives on the 800 block of Thames Street, reported someone threw kitty
litter (with feces), broken eggs, macaroni and cheese and orange shake all over the hood and roof of her car. Her son told her his ex-girlfriend might be the culprit.

(with feces). Bonus blotter:
A 51-year-old Castle Rock man was issued a summons for possession of marijuana at his apartment April 1. Police were dispatched at 8:05 p.m to the man's apartment on the 300 block of East Allen Street on a noise complaint. An officer noticed the smell of marijuana coming from his apartment and asked if he could take a look inside. The man complied and the officer found a large amount of compressed marijuana sitting on the counter. When the officer told the man what he found, the man replied, "Oh yeah, I forgot about that."
