Tuesday Night at the Radio!

Dragnet: "The Big Pug" (18 May 1950). Jack Webb's writing sounds like David Mamet sometimes (without the profanity, of course).

The old bodysnatcher scream (see two posts down) reminded me of the famous intro to a show I don't play enough: X-minus 1. Tonight, "Two stories from one of our most brilliant young science fiction writers, Ray Bradbury": "There Will Come Soft Rains"; and "Zero Hour" (5 December 1956).
