Boulder Daily Gamera's number one story of the "Best of 2007" (heh): Churchill fired from CU.

The firebrand professor first sparked controversy when a Sept. 11 essay he wrote from the gut, and which called some 9/11 victims "little Eichmanns," a reference to a notorious Nazi, came to light in 2005.

Update: For the less CU-centric Denver Post, Churchill's firing rates only the seven spot. Loser.
