memory hole, Down the

During the Duke rape case, Wendy Murphy, a lawyer, adjunct professor at the New England School of Law and frequent news-channel commenter, was a staunch supporter of "victim" Crystal Mangum and rogue prosecutor Mike Nifong, remaining one long after the case had unravelled.

In fact, Murphy was so reckless in her support that Durham-in-Wonderland's KC Johnson found it useful to include a separate section on his blog dealing with her many, many unethical, not to mention untrue, statements about the case, prompting Johnson to ask, repeatedly:

· What sort of network would put such a figure on the air?
· How could such a figure be licensed to practice law?
· How could New England School of Law allow such a figure to teach future lawyers?
Now Murphy has a book out, And Justice For Some: An Expose of the Lawyers and Judges Who Let Dangerous Criminals Go Free.

There's not a single mention of the Duke case in it.
