Weird Bird Friday

As you may recall, last week I was poised to post an ostrich for my weird bird, when, at the last minute, I pulled it in favor of an emu in honor of Australia Day. This poor little fellow has been waiting in the wings (a humiliating position for a flightless bird) ever since.

Some of you may not think an ostrich is so terribly weird, but just look at this guy.

If I looked like that you'd say I was weird, wouldn't you? Oh, wait... I do look like that.

Taken at the same pulque factory as the last two weeks' birds. That silly little zoo behind the pulque factory in Oaxaca is my second best source of weird birds, the first being the Aviary in Puebla.
