I've mentioned Harvey a couple of times in playing "Bill Stern's Sports Newsreel," just pointing out how Harvey stole his whole "Page 2" and "the rest of the story" schtick from Stern.
Anyway, I happened to be listening to some ABC affiliate (Harvey's network) when they announced his death. The clip they played to show his style included Harvey asserting that in "conquering" what is now the continental United States, the U.S. "gave smallpox-infected blankets to the Indians."
There's no escape.
